We work and work until pay day. What comes after all the work? Join us as we discover How to be Rich Towards God in faith, wisdom, humility, and generosity.

WEEK 1 - february 5, 2017
"be faithful"
malachi 3

Jesus reminds us to not set our hearts on things that wear off, wear out, and don't last because He wants to satisfy us in a way that all our searching to fill ourselves cannot touch. In Malachi 3, we find that He never changes but there are some things He'd like to change in us.

WEEK 2 - february 12, 2017
"be WISE"

It’s been said that the love of money is the root of all evil. Although a misquote, how we use money does have the potential to wreak havoc on our lives. It also has the potential to unlock opportunities for spreading the gospel. That’s why we need wisdom when it comes to managing our finances. In the book of Proverbs, we learn how to think about and manage the money God has given us.

WEEK 3 - february 19, 2017
"be humble"
2 Samuel 7
Kevin boyd

When our identity and our security is wound up in our bank accounts, it can easily take hold of our hearts as well. In 2 Samuel 7, we learn we cannot be rich towards God when we are focused on our riches. There’s another that requires our undivided attention.

WEEK 4 - february 26, 2017
"be generous"
2 Corinthians 8
Kevin boyd

When we hear words like tithe, giving or offering, it can easily evoke emotions or memories of rigid or reluctant giving. True generosity, however, is about our hearts. In 2 Corinthians 8, we find an unlikely example of this overflowing, abundant, heart-giving.
