Waking Up In Bastrop Message Series

Jacob's journey with God ended with a new name and family that became the powerful nation of Israel. How this happened reads more like a movie script than what you would expect in a Bible story. Jacob was not known for his honesty or even his love of God, but he learned to trust that he was God's covenant bearer and a patriarch of God's covenant people for all time. In the series, Waking Up In Bastrop, we will walk with Jacob as he learned to trust God's grace and guidance as he changed from a conniving wrestler with God to one of God's chosen servants. We will discover that his story is not that different than our own.
