Welcome to The Flood

Mission

We help students trust Jesus as the church, at home, and in the world.

Focus Statement

We exist to challenge and equip students to make a difference for Jesus Christ today-in the ‘here and now’.

  • HereWe encourage students to apply what they have learned in their personal walk with Christ and share with their families, friends, and school.
  • Now We teach students that God’s presence can be found in their daily local communities and illustrate their value in a culture that dwells on future worth.
  • How
We provide students with opportunities to deepen their relationship with God through worship, community, and service.

Core Values *

  1. God is in control and we are not.
  2. People are more important than programs.
  3. Knowing God is more important than knowing about God.
  4. Doing the right thing is more important than doing things right.
  5. Silence and solitude are essential to experiencing God.

FloodWorship

Our students meet in the NextGen Theater (just inside the portico on the west side of the building) for worship, teaching, small discussion groups, and time for hanging out with other students before and after.

High School and Middle School:

Sunday 6:00p-8:00p-worship service at Legacy. High school will usually go out to eat at a local fast food restaurant afterwards while middle schoolers will meet with their iGroups.

FloodiGroups

iGroups consists of a home-based Bible study where the students can share life together and grow socially, spiritually, and itellectually. With their busy school schedules, iGroups give students a chance to share their struggles and work through issues as a group. High School iGroups integrates service opportunities such as feeding the homeless at the Union Gospel Mission and though service students get to act out their faith and make a difference by spreading the love of Jesus. More information about iGroups can be found on the iGroups section where the students can sink into the topic and talk practically about how to apply the lesson to their lives.
