Pray for God's Food Pantry and Legacy's English Language Program.

Description of ministry:
God's Food Pantry exists to serve the community by extending a helping hand and providing food, support, and love for those facing dire circumstances beyond their control. The scripture-basis for GFP is Matthew 25:40, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

This pantry is specifically designed to give food to the part of the local population that would normally go undernourished. Here at God's Food Pantry we deal with destitution in a way that allows the client to keep their self-esteem at a turbulent time in their lives. GFP provides food for families that would otherwise do without.

With an open-door policy and a reputation for meeting needs, GFP does not charge. Volunteers distribute tens-of-thousands of pounds of donated food each month

Involvement Opportunities

May 2nd -- First Saturday Serve. Staff, clean and organize God's Food Pantry. Bless your community and roll up your sleeves to provide GFP with "elbow grease."
May 3rd -- God's Food Pantry, non-perishable food drive. See wroship guide for details.
May 17th -- CELEBRATE the World in our Backyard Cultural Fair. Come learn about and celebrate the cultures from around the world.
