Brittany, France Mission Trip 2006

Who are the Bretons - or Celts in Brittany?
The Brezhonegerian number about 350, 000, and live in the westernmost tip of Brittany. The language has no official recognition, and Briton speakers have no protected linguistic, human rights in France.
The Briton are an interesting mix of Roman Catholicism, French philosophical skepticism, and left-wing political activism. They are very proud of their culture and national identity.
Only about .16% of the Brezhonegerien would be Evangelical Christians, and there are currently no Breton-speaking, Evangelical churches of any denomination in Brittany.
As our own Legacy team prayer-walks through the region, September 29 - October 9, please join us by:
* Using the daily prayer guide, to pray for these people.
* Continuing to pray for:
- the very few Breton-speaking believers, as they seek to reach their friends, family, and neighbors.
- the development of Christian resources in the Breton language.
- new workers to join in the harvest to come.
* Offering financial support to our team - please note 'France trip' on checks or on the eGiving System
