God so loved the world

God has called Legacy Church to be a mission outpost where every member is a missionary in his or her mission field. Jesus has commanded us to make disciples of ALL nations.

And the world has come to our backyard...

God has brought thousands of international people to our community.One of the ways we seek to reach the world God has placed in our backyard with His love is that we teach people how to speak English through our English Language Program (ELP). This past year was one of our best ever! Here is an example of what the ELP 2007-2008 year looked like:

We can show God's love to the world...
Internationals experience the love of God in a very tangible way as they learn to speak English through the teaching of caring Christ-followers. Imagine it: by being a part of the ELP team YOU can be an international missionary without ever leaving the Plano area!

2008 Summer Schedule

English classes will meet each Sunday in June from 4:30-6:30pm. We will NOT meet in July or August. Registration for the 2008-2009 year will begin in August, with classes starting in September.

Classes Available for the Summer Program (June 2008):

*Beginning English in Chinese. Teacher= Roger Li

*Prepositions/Grammar. Teacher= Lue Kraltchev

*English Conversation. Teacher=TBA

*English Bible Study. Teacher= June Zheng

(unfortunately, childcare will not be available in our Summer Program, June 2008)

LOVE JESUS
Be a surrendered, growing follower of Jesus Christ

SPEAK ENGLISH
You do NOT have to SPEAK a foreign language.

LOVE PEOPLE
Desire to love all people with the love of Christ.

Our Vision ...
