When you read the bible, one thing you’ll consistently find is that God is constantly calling His people to LOOK BACK at lessons He’s taught them, to REWIND to what He’s brought them through, in order to steady them as they go forward. It’s really important that we REWIND & REVISIT moments that were significant to us as a church. We'll take a second look at some very pivotal moments, for our church, from the past year. Join us as we REWIND and hear from God's word in a new way.

WEEK 1 - November 5th, 2017
"from that to this"
matthew 9:9-17
KEVIN BOYD

It’s been said that God is not about religion but relationship. There’s some element to which this is true. But what does being religious really mean? In Mathew 9, we’ll take a look at what Jesus really thinks about religion.

WEEK 2 - November 12th, 2017
"kingdom home"
ephesians 5 & 6
Kirk gentzel

In the world of Ancient Greece, Aristotle believed that the household was a microcosm of the empire at large. From this point of reference Paul writes to the Ephesians in a most scandalous way. He poses that if the kingdom of God invades a household, it can have a large exponential difference through genealogy and by working its way out to the community. In Ephesians 5 and 5 we see how this is played out.

WEEK 3 - November 19th, 2017
"the war on worry"
MATTHEW 6:25-34
KEVIN BOYD

We give power to all kinds of things around us to determine how we feel about our lives and view our situation and futures. We think we are secure when we have money, control, health, and success. If we’re lacking, however, we become filled with worry. In this passage from the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus reminds us that is only one thing we can seek that will free us from worry.

WEEK 4 - November 26th, 2017
"how to be rich this christmas"
proverbs 10:22
Kirk gentzel

It’s been said that the love of money is the root of all evil. Although a misquote, how we use money does have the potential to wreak havoc on our lives. It also has the potential to unlock opportunities for spreading the gospel. That’s why we need wisdom when it comes to managing our finances. In the book of Proverbs, we learn how to think about and manage the money God has given us.
