Welcome to the Flood

We are a community of students who are willing to make a difference in our world by following three concise missional words that formulate our vision:

thinkby this we wish to not merely adhere to "every wind of doctrine or belief" thrown at us by culture, religion or political agenda. our aim is to navigate the truth of scripture in light of culture, policy and belief. we sincerely want to love God with all of our minds.

actby this we mean that we are passionate about our faith in Christ and his word to us. in our passionate pursuit of Him we will undoubtedly be caused to take action against those things which contradict the teachings of Jesus; such as poverty, hunger and complacent Christianity.

changeby this we mean that when we think and then act -inevitably- there will be change in our world through the power of God's Spirit and our obedience to him.

thought is the catalyst of action, action is the catalyst for change - and change is the way of Jesus.

floodTAC forums (think)

Sunday, 9:00 AM -- Student Ministry office(lower A building)
This is our intense discipleship forum to stimulate intellectual growth and understanding of the Christian faith. Issues such as 'comparative religion', 'morality & ethics', and 'basic doctrines of faith' will be addressed during these classes. Students are encouraged to bring difficult questions they have about God, Jesus, the Trinity or other religious beliefs to the table.

floodworship (act)

Sunday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

We meet in our newly-remodeledNextGen Theater (just inside the portico on the west side of the building) for amazing worship, insightful teaching and some time to just chill and hang-out with all of your friends. This is our outreach methodology for encouraging students to bring friends with them to flood. Our band plays both Christian and secular music and the teaching uses the most progressive and creative technologies available.

floodiGroups (change)

iGroups are a small body of believers who live life together and grow together. Our student iGroups are the catalyst for going through life together in community. But our iGroup format is not selfishly focused on 'me' or 'my' problems, rather, each student learns how to help one another grow and go through these tough teenage years together -- communally focused as one body. Students learn deep truths about issues facing each of them daily in school, family, and culture. (Growing in God and Community)
