Life Groups

Legacy is a church that helps people find their identity in Jesus and their place in His mission to impact the world through the Gospel.  Outside of Sunday mornings, our primary way of helping people achieve this goal is through active discipleship in Life Groups.  Our desire is for everyone that calls Legacy Church their home to be involved in a Life Group.

At Legacy, we define a Life Group as a small community of Christians placed together so that the collective GROUP helps an individual live their LIFE as Jesus Christ has ordained.  In other words:

1. A Life Group (LG) is a small community, ideally 12-16 people.
2. LGs are open to all people, not just Christians.  However, it is Christians who are empowered by the Holy Spirit to teach the truth of Scripture.  Because of this, Christians in a LG will be the ones that do the teaching or facilitating.
3. The LG as a whole instructs individual members by empowering, equipping, and educating the individual to live, love, and serve like Jesus Christ.
4. LGs should learn to grow and live in accordance to the pathway that God has set forth in Jesus Christ.  

The process of being a disciple is lengthy, while being totally worth it!
