In Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch Albom wrote: “Every ending is a beginning. We just don't know it at the time.”  

Luke begins the Book of Acts with the end of Jesus' time living physically on the earth. He says what had come before was only what Jesus began to do and teach, until the day when He was taken up to heaven... Luke then turned to write of the beginning of the church age, of which we too are a part. The first followers of Jesus were fueled by a message that captured their hearts and minds, and they couldn't stop talking about it. The church was a movement, always on the move with the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

As we begin a new year, let's double-down on our commitment to living with a "missionary heart" - desiring that the gospel is known by all and working towards spreading it to the world so that we would see our neighbors & the nations reached with the gospel, changed by the gospel, given life & joy & satisfaction by the gospel.
