As It Is In Heaven

The kingdom of God is the “dome" or "domain” where God is king and His will is done. Jesus focused on the Kingdom more than any other single topic. He announced it, taught on it, prayed for it, embodied it, and died to make it a reality. When the Kingdom comes and God’s will is done, the lost are found, the broken are healed, sinners are saved, systems are challenged, the marginalized find belonging, the desperate are defended, disciples are made, the unloved and unlovable find love, and evil is confronted and cast out. We see the reality of the Kingdom incarnate in the life of Jesus himself. This is God’s robust and powerful vision for us now and in eternity; a people and a place where His will is done as it is in heaven. Over the weeks to come we will discover our unique place and purpose as citizens of the kingdom of God.
