Creatures of Habit

C.S. Lewis said ,“each day we are becoming a creature of splendid glory or one of unthinkable horror.” That sounds so dramatic, yet, it’s true; we’re creatures of habit, and we become what we do over and over again.Throughout our new series, “Creatures of Habit”, we will learn and develop a stronger relationship with several spiritual disciplines. Whatever the discipline, remember, its most important feature is its purpose. The goal of spiritual discipline is to open our lives to the abundant life experienced in walking in the same manner as [Jesus] walked (1 John 2:6)…living as Jesus would in our place, thinking what He would think, feeling what He would feel, and therefore, doing what He would do.
