The Day I Met Jesus

People who meet Jesus Christ are always surprised at what they find in the encounter; unusual grace, incredible power, astonishing compassion, perfect knowledge and understanding, joy, light, kindness, strength... the list goes on and on. He wasn't the King anyone expected. He is a different kind of King. He doesn't quite fit anyone's assumptions, and meeting Him face to face is always the most significant moment of a person's life. Why wouldn't it be? A moment with Jesus changes everything. During the Lent season, we will look at the day several different people met Jesus throughout the gospels, and see how Jesus not only had the answers they were seeking in life, but He, Himself, was the answer they needed.
