The Heart of the Shepherd

In Luke 15:1–10, Jesus reveals the heart of God toward the lost. While the Pharisees grumble that Jesus welcomes sinners, heaven rejoices when even one sinner repents. Through the parables of the lost sheep and lost coin, we see that God does not move away from the lost—He moves toward them with joy. Because we have been found by grace, we are called to live with gratitude and gospel urgency for the one.
