Maundy Thursday refers to the Holy Thursday, or the Thursday before Easter.  The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin word meaning “command” and points us to Jesus’ command to the disciples: “love one another as I have loved you.”  The Seder Meal is a traditional Jewish meal, with a retelling of the story of the liberation of Israel from slavery, and a look toward the Messiah.  We can find our own story told within the meal, and many Christians find that participating in a Seder supper helps them to connect with the roots of the Lord’s Supper.  We would like to invite you to join the church family as we will hold a Seder Service & Meal celebration at the Legacy Church building.  

This is a church-family event, with kids of all ages welcome.  We will be casual, not formal, and focus on participation, not presentation.  We may laugh at ourselves as we taste horseradish or bitter root.  We will eat picnic-style, so bring a blanket, and a readiness to enjoy the time together.
