I joined Legacy as the Creative Arts Pastor in 2015 and still can’t believe I get to work at a church who understands what it means to be the body of Christ so well. Legacy embraced me, my daughter Austyn (b. ’12), and my son Lincoln (b. ’16) as a part of her family from the moment we arrived and we have never looked back. I'm surrounded by an incredible team of volunteers and am honestly able to call my fellow pastors some of my best friends. Legacy is a place of warmth and grace unlike any I've ever known and it's a privilege to serve and raise my family here.
I was born and raised in DFW and went to Baylor University for my Undergrad and Duke University for my Masters. Fun fact, between my time at Baylor and Duke I spent a year working and teaching at a culinary school in rural France! In my free time I love getting outside and hiking, cycling, climbing, and visiting as many National Parks with my kiddos as time and money will allow (along with enough locally roasted coffee to keep me fueled along the way).
God has enabled me to serve in Worship and Creative Ministry for over 20 years and His mission for ours at Legacy is very simple - we facilitate environments that make it easy for people to experience Jesus. We believe in the transformational power of the Holy Spirit so our creative team prepares and serves with the sole intent of drawing others into His Presence. As John the Baptist was a voice crying out in the wilderness, we seek to prepare the way of the Lord through our music and creativity.
