When the angel appeared to Mary, in Luke 1, there was no way she could have predicted what that revelation, in it's entirety, would mean for her or for Joseph. They surely dealt with some amount of scandal and difficulty. They also experienced the miracle of seeing God become flesh right before their eyes. They saw God! God is at work weaving something wonderful in our lives as well. We can't always see it from our vantage point because we are looking at the back-side of a tapestry.
