Summer in Psalms 2022 : Four Psalms for Peace

In a world of distraction and distortion from the peace of God, peace is one of the universal longings of the human heart. We desire world peace, the absence of conflict between races and peoples and nations. We want peace in our own personal relationships, our friendships, and harmony in our homes and our families. Most deeply, we want peace in our interior life. Remember these words from Alasdair Groves: “The Psalms invite us to ask to be heard, to be helped, and to be held by God…” Join us Sundays at 10:30 am during the month of July as we return to our annual exploration of the collection of Psalms found in the Old Testament. Together, we will seek the peace of God in answer to the toll taken on our souls from the everyday troubles of this world.
