On-Campus Outreach:
Sports Outreach
Make plans to come and join the fun every month on 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings. We will be in our "backyard", on the west side, behind the church building, for basketball, volleyball, and other community games.
Legacy Church Sports Outreach begins Saturday, April 27th at 9 am. This is a great opportunity to invite someone to come along with you. We want you to bring a friend, we ask you to bring a friend. No registration is needed, just come with someone and enjoy!
Open to all ages, 12 and under need parental supervision on site.
Community Outreach:
Kairos Prison Ministry
The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women, and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.

- Many placemats from Legacy Kids to be used for the participants meals, they see these handmade placemats and hearts change
- 6 members serving during this weekend
- 8 people attending to the closing ceremony on Sunday April 21st
PSHS Spring Classic Car Show
Join us for Plano Senior High School’s 8th Annual Spring Classic Car Show!
Come check out the cars and sign up to serve with our Legacy Church Community Outreach Missions Team. Volunteers will manage and supervise a table, engaging with car show attendees and passing out free cookies!
Serve opportunities are divided into four shifts, needing three volunteers each. Sign up for what times work best for you! Serve with your friends or your family - don't forget to check out the classic cars!
The show is Saturday, May 4th, 10 am-3 pm. Set-up is 9-10 am; clean-up is 3-3:30 pm. Join us to serve!
Plano CARES Work Day
Plano CARES (Code Abatement by Residents Engaged in Service) connects local volunteers to residents in need of assistance with common property code violations. Plano CARES benefits residents who are not able to resolve code issues due to physical or financial hardship. Eligible projects include:
- Minimal tree trimming
- Trash removal
- Damaged fence removal/repair
- Accessory building removal/repair
- Minor exterior home repair
Specific details about the projects will not be made available until closer to the date of the project. Volunteers must be 18 or older. Project work days are scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of the month from March through November. Tools and equipment will be available on work days for volunteer use.

Mission Trips:
la Chapelle Mission Trip
Join the team for a great time working together while serving la Chapelle Church in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The team departs on Saturday, April 20th, and returns on Sunday, April 28th. While there, they will attend church services with la Chapelle on Sundays, leaving the physical work days for Monday - Saturday. The team will be helping with repairs on the newly acquired church building. Work tasks may be painting, drywall installations, framing, demolition, electrical "rough-in", and other miscellaneous repair activities. The approximate travel cost is $1800/person. Fundraising covers the majority of our costs.

Uganda Mission Trip
Want to be part of the Uganda Mission Team this year? We are building our Uganda Mission Team 2024 for a trip in the late August - early September timeframe (tentative August 26th - September 7th). The approximate travel cost is $3800/person. Fundraising covers the majority of our costs.
