Read: John 6:25–35
Brief Context: The crowd chased Jesus across the sea after He fed the 5,000. They were looking for another miracle meal, but Jesus pointed them to something far more satisfying—Himself.
Say: The crowd wanted another miracle meal. Jesus challenged them—He wasn’t just the Giver of bread, He was the Bread.
Ask: What deeper hunger was Jesus addressing that the crowd didn’t understand? How are we tempted to come to Jesus for what He can do, not who He is? In what ways can we shift our spiritual appetite from circumstantial relief to eternal nourishment?

Read: John 4:10–14
Brief Context: Jesus engages a Samaritan woman at a well. She’s searching for something that satisfies, and Jesus points to Himself as Living Water.
Say: Just like with the woman at the well, Jesus wasn’t offering better circumstances—He was offering Himself.
Ask: What are the “wells” in your life that leave you thirsty again? What would it look like to truly find satisfaction in Christ?

Read: Isaiah 55:1–3
Brief Context: Through the prophet Isaiah, God invites people to come and be satisfied—not through money or striving, but by listening to His voice and delighting in Him.
Ask: How does this invitation from God to “buy without money” challenge how we think about spiritual fulfillment? What do these verses reveal about God’s heart for our satisfaction?

Reflective Passages: Isaiah 55:1–3, Jeremiah 2:13, Psalm 107:9, Matthew 6:31–33
