The Parable of the Great Dinner

This sermon from Luke 14:1-24 uses Jesus’ parable of the Great Dinner to show that God’s Kingdom isn’t a burden to carry, it’s a banquet we’re invited to enjoy. God’s invitation isn’t about earning your place or proving yourself; it’s already finished and waiting for you to say yes. But just like in the story, people often miss the moment because they’re distracted by good but lesser things. Once we accept God’s invitation, we’re called to extend it by inviting others to experience His grace and reminding them that there’s still room at the table.
