Life Group Study - September 14, 2025
Read: Revelation 7:9–10
Context: This is the promised future where every nation, tribe, and language gathers around the throne to worship Jesus.
  • Say: God’s mission will not fail. This vision shows us the “why” of our lives and mission.
  • Ask: What about this scene stands out most to you—the diversity, the unity, or the focus on Jesus? How does seeing the end vision change how you live in the right now?
  • Supporting Passages: Habakkuk 2:14, Isaiah 25:6–8
Read: Acts 1:8
Context: Jesus tells His disciples they will receive power and become His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
  • Say: Jesus doesn’t call us to hustle harder—He promises the Spirit’s power for His mission.
  • Ask: Why do you think Jesus promised power before giving the mission? Where in your life do you feel most aware of needing the Spirit’s strength?
  • Supporting Passages: Romans 1:16, Ephesians 3:20, Zechariah 4:6
Read: Acts 1:8 again — focus on “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, ends of the earth”
Context: Jesus gives concentric circles of mission—local, regional, cross-cultural, global.
  • Say: Our Jerusalem is our daily life—our homes, schools, neighborhoods, and jobs. Samaria represents people close by but different from us.
  • Ask: Which “place” is hardest for you to engage—Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, or ends of the earth? What would it look like to live intentionally in your Jerusalem this week?
  • Supporting Passages: Matthew 28:19–20, Luke 24:47, John 20:21
Read: John 1:43–49
Context: Philip meets Jesus and immediately invites Nathanael to “Come and see.”
  • Say: Jesus doesn’t ask us to argue, judge, or spectate. He calls us to be witnesses—to share what we’ve seen Him do.
  • Ask: How would you describe the difference between arguing people into the Kingdom and simply witnessing? Who could you extend a “come and see” invitation to this week?

Reflective Passages: Revelation 7:9–10, Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19–20, John 1:43–49

Follow-up & Challenge
  • Share with someone in your group this week where you sense God nudging you to be a witness.
  • Pray for boldness to step into your Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, or beyond.
  • Challenge: In the next 48 hours, text, call, or invite one person in your Jerusalem to “come and see” Jesus.
