You’re Not Alone — A Community to Support You When Considering Adoption

Adoption is one of the most beautiful ways to grow a family—and also one of the most challenging to navigate alone. If you’re exploring adoption or foster care, you may find yourself asking some big, weighty questions:
• Where do I even begin?
• What’s the difference between foster care, kinship care, and private adoption?
• How will this impact our family—our marriage, our children, our finances?
• What kind of support will we need, and where can we find it?
These are not small questions. And while reading articles, watching videos, and talking to professionals can help, nothing replaces real, face-to-face connection with people who have walked this road ahead of you.
That’s where community steps in.
The Adoption Support Ministry at Legacy Church exists to make sure no one walks this road alone.
Adoption is a picture of what God has done for us. When we come together as a family, a church, and a community to provide a child a place to belong, we are living out that example.
Whether you're simply curious about foster care or actively pursuing adoption, we want to offer a place for honest conversation, practical help, and heartfelt encouragement.
Join Us: Lunch & Learn | Sunday, May 4th
We’d love to invite you to a special Lunch and Learn on Sunday, May 4, immediately following the Legacy Church worship service at about 11:45 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This event is designed for anyone who is just beginning to explore adoption or foster care—or anyone who simply wants to learn more.
You’ll hear firsthand stories from families like mine, who’ve experienced the highs, lows, and holy moments of this journey. You'll also have a chance to ask your questions in a safe, welcoming environment. Whether you're full of curiosity or quietly carrying a desire to adopt in your heart, this is the perfect next step.
Lunch and childcare is provided with advance registration.
Come to listen. Come to learn. Come to be reminded that you’re not in this alone.
