The Path to Something Greater

In 1 Kings 19, Elisha is living a successful and stable life when God interrupts it with a call to something greater. His response reminds us that God’s greater purposes often begin with surrender, bold obedience, and a shift in what sits at the center of our lives. Following Jesus is not about adding Him to our plans but allowing Him to re-center everything around Himself. When we fix our eyes on God’s greater vision, we discover a life that matters far beyond what we could build on our own.
