I don't know how to host.

My house isn't ready for guests.

The challenge is about getting together with people, you don't have to host at your home. In fact, sometimes meeting at a public place is more comfortable! Meet at a restaurant, coffee shop, patio, park, or anywhere people can linger and talk.

What if the conversation gets awkward?

That’s okay. You don’t have to manufacture a deep moment. Ask questions, stay curious, and let conversation develop naturally.

What if someone says something I disagree with?

You don’t have to correct every statement. Listen before you respond. Sometimes, “Tell me more about that” is the best thing you can say.

Does every meal need to become a spiritual conversation?

No. The goal is not to ambush anyone. Make room, love people well, and trust God with what happens next.

Jesus still meets people at tables.

When Jesus came, He didn’t only speak to crowds. He sat at tables.

He ate with sinners. He moved toward outsiders. He welcomed people who could offer Him nothing in return. He took the place of a servant. He made breakfast for friends who had failed Him. And on the night before the cross, He took a familiar meal and revealed that it had been pointing to Him all along.

Jesus is still inviting people to His table.

And He is preparing one final feast: the marriage supper of the Lamb, where His redeemed people will feast with Him forever.

What if we surrendered our tables to Jesus?

They could become places where people encounter grace, experience belonging, build real relationships, and receive an invitation to the kingdom.

Our tables can become a preview of the table still to come.
