Legacy Church VBS is a free, 4-night (6p-8:30p) camp with fun games, amazing worship, and incredible truths from the Bible. Friday, June 5, is a special family night where all parents attend with their children.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. VBS is for ages 3 years old - completed 5th grade.
Small group leaders are an essential part of VBS. They shepherd a small group of children during the week, helping them grow in their understanding of God’s word and love for Jesus. They are joyful and faithful servants who share the gospel with children. They create a safe, welcoming environment where children feel seen, valued and loved. If you love kids, high energy and sharing the truth of Jesus with children, this is for you!
A craft leader is a Christ-centered servant who uses hand-on activities to help children connect biblical truth through creativity to their everyday lives. They joyfully serve by guiding children in creative projects that reinforce the Bible lesson. With patience and enthusiasm, they help kids learn through turning simple materials into meaningful reminders of God’s Word. If you love creating and connecting the gospel to something tangible, then this is for you!
A snack leader uses snack time as an opportunity to reflect Christ’s love and reinforce biblical truth. They serve by preparing and organizing refreshments that help children feel cared for and welcomed. They create a warm and orderly environment where kids can refuel and build friendships. If you love to connect the snack to biblical truth in a fun and meaningful way, then this is for you!
A recreation leader is an energetic and Christ-centered servant who uses games and physical activity to build joy, unity, and reinforce biblical truth. They joyfully lead children in active games that create excitement, teamwork, and fun throughout the week. They connect activities to the daily Bible lesson by helping children see how God’s truth applies to every part of life, even play. If you like being loud, energetic, and outside, then this role is for you!
A worship leader is a joyful and Spirit-led servant who guides children in praising God through music and worship. They faithfully lead children in songs, motions, and moments of praise that kids feel free to sing boldly, move joyfully, and lift their hearts to God. Whether on the stage or behind the scenes, if you like pointing children to Jesus and helping them hide God’s word in their hearts through song or technology, this role is for you!
A student leader is a young believer who serves as a Christ-like example to younger children, using their time, energy, and gifts to support VBS. They are middle school and high school students who serve alongside adult leaders by helping guide activities and build positive relationships with the children in their group. If you are a student who wants to make an eternal difference, this role is for you!
A volunteer childcare leader cares for the youngest children so that families can volunteer and fully participate in VBS ministry. They create a safe and nurturing environment where little ones feel secure and valued. They instill the truth of God’s word through play and songs throughout the week. If you love to demonstrate Christ’s love in a tangible way, this role is for you!
